Vampire in the Clock Tower - Part 2

Updated: Sep 24, 2022

It was midnight and Tom, the clock tower manager, had not gone to bed. As he prepared his dinner, he heard a loud creak in the doorway. He took a step back and put his hands in front of him, as he thought the vampire had come back. The door suddenly swung open and Tom staggered backwards and landed on one knee.

But it was not the evil vampire. It was his boss, Bill. Bill had really big ears and wore a black cloak with a collar. Bill's voice also sounded weird as if he had big teeth like the vampire that Tom had seen. Tom did not suspect him but he had some weird feeling. He could not stop feeling that Bill was the vampire. Bill told him to go and sleep because the next day was Halloween and there was work to do.

As Tom turned away, he heard an evil laughter behind him. He jumped and turned over at once to see the VAMPIRE! But Bill was gone. Tom did not have time to think about that now, because the vampire had brought his teammates - Blood Suckers. (They were all bats.)

Tom thought Bill was eaten up and sent a flying kick at the vampire's tummy. The vampire, without thinking, took grip of Tom's foot, lifted him up and threw him out of the window. Tom's mind was spinning very fast but he managed to grab on to the back window. He took a quick peek into the tower and saw the vampire's back. Then, he looked at the vampire's dangling feet above the ground.

Thinking fast, Tom plucked out one of the bricks from the clock tower and hurled it at the vampire. He used his last strength to pull himself up, through the window.

The vampire was dead. Tom let out a cry of victory as the brick had crushed the vampire's skull. The Blood Suckers knew they were no match for Tom and flew out of the window, bashing one another along the way because they were all trying to get out through the small window.

Tom's mouth suddenly fell wide open at what he then saw. Bill was dangling from a few of the flying bats' grip. The bats were too far away. Tom couldn't save Bill anymore...
